Be Informed...

If you are a coupon crazy like I am, you should be informed on the correct policies. There is a link below for WalMart policies, so print it out and stick it in your coupon book. Also, below are three emails I received. They are from Target, Meijer, and Rite Aid. You may want to email them so that you can print off their response from your own email account.

Walmart Coupon Policy

Target:
When accepting coupons, we use the following guidelines:

- We accept two kinds of coupons: Target-issued and manufacturer-issued.
- We'll accept one Target coupon and one manufacturer coupon for the same item, unless either
coupon prohibits it.
- We can't give cash back if the face value of a coupon is greater than the purchase value of the
item; in this case, we're able to adjust the value of the coupon to equal the price of the item.
- We can't accept coupons from other retailers, or coupons for products not carried in our
stores.
- All valid coupons should be presented to the cashier while you're checking out.

For questions about using a specific coupon, we encourage you to stop by Guest Service and ask to speak with the Guest Service Team Leader. They'll do their best to help while you're in the store. If you still have questions after speaking with them, please call our Guest Relations team at (800) 440-0680. Either way, we're here to help!

Meijer:
We accept manufacturer, Catalina manufacturer, Meijer, Catalina Meijer, internet and competitors' coupons within certain guidelines. For Meijer, Catalina Meijer and competitors' coupons the customer pays any applicable sales tax on the discounted price. When a manufacturer or Catalina vendor coupon is presented, the customer pays sales tax on the full retail amount; and we rebate only the value of the coupon. We do not issue rain checks on out-of-stock vendor coupon items.

To be valid, coupons must be presented before or on the expiration date. The customer must meet with the terms or qualifications for redemption on the coupon.

Rite Aid
You can only use one manufacturer coupons per sale. However, you can use a
manufacturer's coupon with a Rite Aid coupon at anytime as long as the two
combine do not exceed the amount of the item you are purchasing.

Rite Aid will only accept internet coupons printed from our site.
Unfortunately, due to fraud we do not accept coupons printed from any other
site, even those printed from the manufacturer.

Whenever an item is on sale you can use a coupon on the item as long as the
value of the coupon does not exceed the value of the item itself. For
instance; if you have a coupon for a $1.00 off and the item is on sale for
$0.99, the coupon cannot be used as it exceeds the value of the item being
purchased. I hope this explains in further detail the coupon policy for you.

Also, you can use BOGO coupons on BOGO sales.

CVS

Thank you for contacting the CVS/pharmacy website. I am in receipt of your e-mail regarding the coupon policy. Unfortunately we do not have a copy of the coupon policy that can be distributed to customers. However if you have a specific question, I would be more than happy to address that issues with you. .

Thanks for posting all of the coupon policies! It gets so confusing with all stores being so different! Even when locations of the same store are using different policies. I never know what one Walgreen's will accept and the other won't...so frustrating :)
