a note about bread - sandwich bread anyway. I have a friend who just keeps hers in the freezer and defrosts it as she needs it (20 seconds for 2 slices). I always mean to do that, but forget to so we just feed any that gets stale to the Canadian geese in our neighborhood.

Since I don't pay too much for the bread (bread store and watching coupons) I don't feel like feeding it to the geese is a waste and it get us outside for a little while.
